I also have started to use my mom’s repurposed upholstery materials to make hats, bags, headbands and other fun odds and ends. I have started selling these handmade goodies on Etsy. I love making little things that bring big joy 💛
Years ago, I found lunchbox cards at Aldi (because the Aisle of Shame always delivers). Even though Eleanor is in junior high, she still gets a card in her lunchbox every single day—and she loves it.
So… I started making our own ✨
Around the same time, we set a goal to reduce our carbon footprint. We swapped paper towels and napkins for cloth (yes, even bamboo toilet paper 🙌). My grandma made smaller cloth napkins—originally for tea parties—but they turned out to be perfect for lunchboxes.
Now these have become one of our favorite things to make together 💕
Each set includes 5 reusable cloth napkins + 5 lunchbox cards, bundled into a fun little pack that adds joy and cuts waste.
