As someone who is neurodivergent, sometimes I get overwhelmed when I have to declutter. It can seem overwhelming to look at my home and see how much there is to do. In those times, it is always important for me to remember that I don’t have to do it all now. I can choose to do less,
and it still makes a difference. And it makes decluttering my house manageable.

We’ve normalized productivity, hustling and grinding so much that we’ve forgotten just how important it is to slow down, to rest and to live more gently. This is especially important in January after the chaos and overstimulation of the holiday season. So this year, choose a slower, more gentle, restorative January!
