Sadly, a pedestrian is killed every 74 minutes in traffic crashes. Remember, at some point in the day EVERYONE is a pedestrian:
🚶‍➡️ Follow the rules of the road
🚶‍➡️ Use crosswalks when available
🚶‍➡️ Walk on sidewalks when available
🚘 Look out for pedestrians and minimize blind spots
🚘 Be careful in hard-to-see conditions
🚘 Yield to pedestrians in crosswalks

🤪 a hectic morning
📋 a change in routine
📱 a phone call
🥱 lack of sleep (!)
⛔ a road closure.
All of these and many more things can lead to a “disconnect” in your brain where autopilot takes over. Always, always check the back seat. Hot cars can have tragic results for children.

If you buy pills online or on the street, you cannot know what they contain, no matter what anyone tells you. There currently is no test that will guarantee that a pressed pill does not have fentanyl in it, or even that it has a ‘safe’ amount of fentanyl in it. The only way to ensure that you are getting a safe pill is to get it directly from a pharmacist in a bottle with your name on it.

Be seen! Reflectors and lights on your bike, and wearing retroreflective and bright clothing, help drivers see you better.
