If you’re celebrating outdoors, keep in mind that the UV index is rated from high to extreme across most of the country today—so skin protection matters.
☀️ Quick skin-safe reminders:
• Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen 15–30 minutes before heading out.
• Reapply every 2 hours, and after swimming or sweating.
• Wear a wide-brim hat, sunglasses, and UV-protective clothing when you can.
• Seek shade, especially between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
• Stay hydrated and keep an eye on little ones—skin can burn fast.
