We were honored to join CrossFit Soda City over the past weekend for the annual "Muller" Hero WOD. We are incredibly grateful for Chris and the CFSC team for not only creating the one-of-a-kind workout in honor of our fallen brother, J, but for certifying it as an official CrossFit Hero WOD and hosting it each year!
Thank you to everyone who showed up, put in the work, and helped us continue to honor J. His legacy lives on. π€π»

π Meet the Athlete | David Silva π
-Born and raised in northeast Connecticut, David's path to the fire service started early. Following in the footsteps of both his grandfather and father, he began as a volunteer firefighter alongside his brother-and quickly realized this wasn't just a job, it was a calling.
2026 marks 16 years in the fire service, including 5 years as a volunteer and 11 years as a career firefighter.
-For David, fitness isn't optional-it's a responsibility. He believes every firefighter owes it to the community to maintain a high level of physical readiness. The demands of the job are tough, and being in shape ensures he can perform when it matters most. Off duty, training serves as both stress relief and a mental reset β a way to stay sharp and focused.
-Outside the firehouse, David enjoys traveling with his wife, exploring new food spots, spending time outdoors, and staying active.
-Being part of the High Intensity Team combines everything he values most: hard work, camaraderie, and giving back to the community.
