Here’s to a Christmas filled with cuddles, wagging tails, and plenty of jerky under the tree. 🎄🐾

PEACH adopted for half a day, whaaaaa! Her return reason was “too energetic, very playful.” DO NOT comment about the adopter(s) - yes yes grrr but really this is a failure of education in this space. • What is a dog? • What kind of dog is a match for your household? • What are dog’s needs and how do you meet them? These are things the human did not know when they took PEACH home. We don’t know the scenario but I would guess a more senior dog may have been a match, here. ALL young dogs need daily exercise, engagement, and play. If the human does not provide this, the dog will find a way to get what they need. And the humans may not appreciate what they come up with. 🤣 PEACH is about 1 year old. She has been in a shelter kennel many times. Hey - she may chill after the #333rule has been applied or be a more energetic puppy until she’s 6 years old… who knows?! Why dog? Because… companionship, responsibility, exercise, purpose, love. What dog? A match for your household’s energy & exercise level, personality, and time commitment. Kyla & Oliver are the cutest bonded pair currently waiting for their forever home at AAWL! Kyla & Oliver were found as strays together by a good Samaritan and have decided they want to stay together forever. Kyla is a 3-year-old gal accompanied by her best friend Oliver, a 4-year-old boy. They’re excited to continue living together and cuddle on the couch with you while watching your favorite tv show. And they’re big fans of stuffies so be prepared for some playtime!
