We wanted to provide you with some tips to help you prevent a huge spike on your water bill!
🌟Keep an eye on your water pressure! Especially if there is an increase in your water usage. The California Plumbing Code states that "Water pressure at the point of use must be no less than 15 psi and no more than 80 psi. If the pressure exceeds 80 psi, a pressure regulator is required."
🌟Check for leaking faucets, fixtures and hose bibbs. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) found that "household leaks can waste nearly 1 trillion gallons of water annually nationwide." They also found that "a leaky faucet that drips at the rate of one drip per second can waste more than 3,000 gallons per year." We're sure that's not something you would like to see on your water bill.

🌟Inspect your water heater. Check to see if there are any leaks in your hoses and it is also recommended to flush out your water heater yearly to prolong the water heaters life expectancy.
🌟Inspect your washing machine hoses. Overloading your washer and cause damage to your water hoses.
