⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A huge thank you to our customers who take the time to leave reviews—and an extra special thank you to those who share photos of the finished project! As project managers, fabricators, and installers, we don't always get to see the completed space, so seeing your vision come to life is incredibly rewarding.

This beautiful kitchen features Silestone® Versailles Ivory by Cosentino on both the countertops and full-height backsplash, creating a seamless and elegant look that pairs perfectly with the rich cabinetry.

Here's what the homeowner had to say:

"Shawn and Zak were courteous and professional! They did a great job, my counters and backsplash look fabulous! I am a very satisfied customer."

Thank you for trusting Tops in Countertops with your home and for recognizing the hard work of our installation team. We love seeing the finished results and hearing that you're enjoying your new space!

Cutting and putting an edge on your countertop are some of the first steps in our fab shop to get you the most accurate and smooth finish. We use a waterjet, sawjet and cnc's to get the work done right!

Behind every beautiful countertop install is a lot of planning before a single cut is made ✨

When a project requires a seam, one of our goals is always to create the best possible flow through the natural movement of the stone. At Tops In Countertops, we use Slabsmith — a digital “green screen” layout program — where we photograph each slab and digitally line up the veining before fabrication begins. This allows us to visualize exactly how the material will look installed and make adjustments for the best overall appearance.

Not every seam can flow perfectly — especially with heavily veined materials, random natural movement, or when layouts require pieces from two different slabs. Natural stone is unique, and every project presents different challenges.

For this project using Sensa Fantasy Brown from Cosentino, the results turned out beautifully! The digital layout allowed us to continue the movement through the seam and create a much more natural look once installed.

Same stone. Four completely different looks. 👀

These are all Sensa Argenti Grey by Cosentino—and this is exactly why it’s so important to view natural stone in person before making a final decision.

Natural stone is formed by the earth, not manufactured—so every slab is unique. Veining, movement, color variation, and even intensity can change dramatically from one slab to the next. What looks subtle in one piece can be bold and high-contrast in another.

When you’re looking at a small sample in a big box store, you’re only seeing about 2 sq ft of material. That tiny piece can’t show you the full story—how the veining flows across a full slab, where dramatic features might land, or how the overall tone reads in a larger space.

That’s why we always recommend hand-selecting your slab when possible. It gives you confidence in exactly what will end up in your home—no surprises.

Engineered stone is different. Since it’s manmade, it’s designed to be consistent. Looking at a full slab online or a sample is typically accurate because the pattern and color don’t vary like natural stone.

Bottom line:
Natural stone = one-of-a-kind beauty (but always view in person)
Engineered stone = consistent and predictable
