gold leaf the dome of San Francisco’s City Hall in 1998 and to restore the Spanish Baroque trompe l’oeil ceiling of St. Peter’s Church in San Francisco’s Mission District a year later. Decorative painting led me to sign painting, and I started working with computer graphics in 2003, as a novice in a sign shop in New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina brought me to Colorado Springs in 2005 and a new place to explore graphic design: the promotional products industry. I had nine years training in how a logo lives and works in the world of commerce--on billboards, on keychains, on trifold brochures, on-line.
