TLCC Downtown

We were blessed to join Genesis Church of the Nazarene for their first service at the Royer campus. We know that God has amazing things in store for their church and the Hillside community.

Tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM, Genesis Church will be holding their first service right here in the downtown building!

We hope you’ll join us as we welcome them with open hearts and pray for God’s blessing over their new ministry season. Let’s celebrate what God is continuing to do in this space and in the Hillside community!

One final project before we close our ministry in Hillside. We are thankful for the help we have received from so many people over the last two years.

Good morning brothers and Sisters! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! We are planning work day at the DT campus this Saturday at 9am. We will be primarily working in the back room but we have some other projects to button up around the church.

Our focus is to finish projects that we have already planned on doing so that everything is in good shape for when the Genesis Church moves in.

Projects include:
Back Room
1. Paint and repair the ceiling in the back room
2. Installation of new flooring
3. Hang vertical blinds
4. Replace door jam
5. Install base boards (back room, hallway and entrance)

Sanctuary
1. Paint wall and install base board on the stage
2. Repair drywall on west wall

Outside
1. Repair front porch support beam
2. Build new ADA ramp
3. Replace shed door

Obviously we won’t get everything done, but this is a good list to start with.

Beccy and I will be over there in the evenings to start to clear out the back room and hopefully get some of these things checked off this list.

Took this right before we started our last service. This is the spot where Beccy and I would stand week after week praying over the Hillside community that we love so much. Blessed to have had the opportunity to serve and love all y’all! Blessed that I have such an amazing ministry mate in Beccy! And that we get to do ministry together!

Love ya you will be greatly missed, but you will be in good hands with pastor Gwen and the Genesis Church!

This morning at 10:00 am we will gather for our last worship service at TLCC Downtown. It will be a special time of thanksgiving, and looking ahead to what God has next.
