Demon Core

Do you love obscure physics references from 1945? Do you love mead?

Following the end of World War 2, scientists at Los Alamos Laboratory conducted criticality experiments with two hemispheres of radioactive plutonium alloy. Accidents with this object lead to the deaths of 2 scientists and gave rise to thenickname “Demon Core”. The hemispheres were melted down preventing further accidents. It reminds us what happens when humanity flies too close to the sun.

Apples have cores, so the name totally makes sense. Anyway, this is an apple mead with blackberry and vanilla. This creation was aged on toasted French oak for a bit of intrigue. 12% ABV, available in bottles and on tap tomorrow! The allure of the demon core is ... tempting.
