These aren't just greeting cards to me. They are my paintings. They are my handwriting. They are my designs. They are my thoughts put down on canvas and on paper. They are dreams I had when I was learning and freelancing and doing all the work I needed to do that wasn't quite "me". They are my ongoing years of stationery buying. They are the joys of milestones and feelings of every day. They are my commitment to keeping art and life human. They are all my loves wrapped up in miniature, for you to share with yours. 💜 - Kelli

"Find Your Color" is Lindsay Sfara's debut poetry collection, available February 26. It's also my first real book cover design! 🌈💛

A longtime family friend, Lindsay came to me last year with a strong concept already in mind, of a colorful chameleon on a sunny yellow background. I painted the illustration on canvas with acrylic paints & pens, and I designed the cover layout & text on the computer with Affinity Publisher.

I've had to find my own colors many times in my personal & professional life, and it's an ongoing process. Even being asked to make this piece in itself still feels unreal to me, that my literal colors had inspired a fellow creative to choose my style as the face of her own work.
