For those of you who may not be aware, I parted ways with the TV industry about a month ago. I needed just a little time to process my decision as it was not easy to say goodbye to a career nearly 6 years in the making.

Also, for those who may not know, life working as a TV meteorologist is not all sunshine and rainbows (so to speak ๐Ÿ˜†). The hours were the hardest part for me. Changing schedules, 2 AM shifts, working every weekend and almost every holiday.

It wasn't all bad though! I'll make an additional post about some of my favorite memories later on, but for now I just wanted to update everyone. I went on a storm chase near Colorado Springs yesterday and I pulled out my FOX21 jacket in the spirit of my amazing Southern Colorado family ๐Ÿฅน a big thank you to FOX21 for making my last couple of years in TV so very special - miss you all!

P.S Iโ€™ll still be posting updates to my life and lots of fun weather happenings here! So please follow along for the journey, I appreciate you all so very muchh ๐Ÿ˜„โ™ฅ๏ธ
