Mayar is thriving and he has been reunited with his immediate family in Illinois. It will still be a long road ahead to reunite with his parents and siblings, but he is adjusting well to his new life. The conditions are not yet safe enough to show pictures of his family or his life in the Midwest, but I can say that the American Dream is alive and well within his home!
