Remember WWII
07/05/2024
Hey there everyone! I wanted to share a photograph from with a true WWII hero and purple heart Marine that I had the honor of interviewing recently for the Remember WWII YouTube channel. Please meet Ken Wells who fought with the 6th Marine Division on the island of Okinawa in the capacity of a rifleman in Fox Company in 29th Marine Regiment. He saw serious action and had many close calls. Mr. Wells was blown up by a Japanese mortar and had shrapnel hit him across his body. This man bled for our freedoms literally. Let us live our lives in a way worthy of his sacrifice! Thanks and GOD BLESS
Raymond Tarabusi's war testimony covers in great detail the first-hand experience he had serving in the US Army in the time around D-Day. He recalls coming under successive shell fire from the N**i's.
Facing constant threats from flamethrowers and snipers, Mr. Scott also served in the brutal campaigns of Palau and Okinawa. His first-hand account vividly portrays the dramatic and terrifying realities of war. Preserving World War II testimonies like his is crucial for helping current and future generations understand the true horrors of war.
