Our desire is for people who are far away from God as well as those who are tired of religion, to see a church that is doing everything possible to honor Christ and change the world. Our Guatemala team left this morning! They’ll be working with Impacto Ministries, who has been Central‘s longtime missions partner. Pray for this group’s safety as they travel and that they would have many gospel opportunities with the children and abuelitos that they’ll be working with.
Does God merely tolerate us, or does He genuinely treasure us?
Sometimes, the hardest part of our Christian walk is not believing that Jesus is powerful, but believing that His power and love are actually directed towards us personally. Jesus answers this with a stunning promise in John 6:37: "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never cast out." This is not a general statement about humanity, but a personal guarantee to every person who comes to Him in faith.
You were given to Jesus by the Father as a precious gift. That is how God sees you. Not as a project to fix or a problem to manage, but as a gift He chose to give His Son. Jesus receives that gift with love.

That was a real response from one of our partner schools in Memphis.
Sometimes it’s easy to overlook the impact a pack of crayons, a notebook, or a backpack can make. But for a child, those simple gifts can turn into a message that is life changing.
This year, our goal is to provide 2,000 backpacks for students in our community, across Memphis, and in the Bronx. Every backpack is an opportunity to meet a practical need and share the love of Christ.
