During this spring semester, Mark Mielke, founder of Texas A&M's first financial literacy program (The Money Wise Aggie), stepped in as a visiting lecturer to teach our FINP 335 course, Financial Readiness for the Military.
As a veteran, Mark knows the profound impact that solid financial foundations can have in the life of a service member.
We want to take a moment to honor his continued commitment to student success and share our gratitude for the time he generously gave in support of our program.

A learning environment that fosters community doesn’t start in the classroom. It starts before, with the team of people who help make it possible.
Earlier this week, program faculty and staff had a moment to step away at the end of the semester to enjoy one another’s company, recap the year, discuss what's ahead, and learn how they can best support each other in empowering aspiring planners.
We're grateful for all of the time this team puts into showing up, not only for each other, but for the students who make the investment worth it!
