❄️ Colder temps are finally moving in - Which means it's time to prepare your home for the cold weather! ❄️ Follow these tips to avoid any maintenance issues this incoming freeze may bring:

- Make sure you know where to find your water shut-off! If your water line freezes or bursts, you will need to shut-off your homes water supply to prevent flooding 💧 In most places, the water shut-off will be outdoors near the water meter.
- Maintain your indoor temperature! Instead of turning your heater on full-blast, ease into warmer temperatures to maintain the health of your heating system. 🔥
- Cover outdoor water pipes & plants! Make sure any outdoor exposed pipes are covered to prevent the pipes freezing. 🚿 If you have outdoor plants, bring them inside or cover them with a blanket 🪴
- Uncover any air vents within the home to ensure the heating system is working as efficiently as possible ✅
- Drip your faucets! In the case of below-freezing temperatures, setting your sink faucets to drip at a slow and steady pace can prevent water lines from freezing. 🚰
