Our company is building a new team. We are seeking individuals with wood stair building or wood stair installation experience for new and modern style of designer stairs and other architectural elements. We are in the New York City area, based in College Point, NY. Our projects are mostly in the NY/NJ/CT area but we do travel to locations are far west as California. Great opportunity for someone looking for an entry-level position in the custom manufacturing of stairs. We're an easy-going, hi-end installer of artistic stair projects and we are looking for someone to join our team. Basic skills in safely using power tools and a tape measure are required. - Must be able to get to work on time, and be ready to work, 5 days a week

- Seeking individuals who have the ability to learn and follow directions

- Experience measuring, cutting, and following verbal directions

- Must speak, read, write and understand the English language

- Familiar with the safe and proper use of tools (circular saw, drill press, and other common power tools).

- Hourly wage is dependent on your proven abilities

- Located in the Queens, College Point, NY to be exact.

- Must have OSHA 30 Construction Safety Certification. NYC SST Card a plus!

- Seeking skilled individuals who have the ability to learn and follow directions with 3-5 years of installation experience.

- Install new and modern staircases and other architectural elements.

- Experience measuring, cutting, and assembling various woods, glass, metals, acrylics, and other materials

- Familiar with the safe and proper use of tools (circular saw, drill press, and other common power tools).

- Located in the New York City area, based in College Point, NY.

The ideal candidate will work well in a small team environment, have trade skills, and at least 5 years of experience in a related field (remodeling, construction, shop, etc.). For this position, candidates who can safely operate power tools, take and record accurate measurements, cut and assemble wood, glass, and metal projects should apply. Legal status to work in the United States is required.

A very important attribute for any candidate is to be reliable and be able to show up each day ready to work. Having your own tools and own transportation, to and from our facility, is a must.
