See it’s a number of reasons you may get this notice when checking the status of your refund. But, one of the main reasons is….

1. Checking it several times a damn day, it’s updated only once a day so if you check and it still processing, don’t check again.

You will cause them to red flag you because now they wondering why you so press and then start to think it isn’t you so now they need to verify your identity to make sure you know a return was filed on your behalf.

Ohkay! Now I’ve warned you.

Because having that account set up, can make things easier when filing to know if IRS has sent you a letter and someway you missed it-maybe you moved and didn’t report it, maybe you just threw it away by mistake, etc…. That way, before i file you, we can see if there are any holds that we need to be aware of that will prevent you from receiving your refund.
