Thank you to all of our clients. Pace Marine Technology has closed down operations on the Space Coast and will no longer be servicing boats. I have accepted a position at a major, full-service yacht yard in Fort Lauderdale and will be leaving the area soon. Starting in 2018, our one-man operation blossomed to include a full shop with four technicians completing over 220 work orders per year, averaging gross sales of over $430,000.00. My Faith in God through my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in communion with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, compelled me to adopt a Faithful approach to all elements of my business and that Faith culminated in a very successful seven years. Our clients were instrumental in that achievement and we expressed our thanks by responding with fairness and dedication. I say 'thank you' once again and wish you all the best.

Some time around 0130, one of the two port 5/8" bowlines on 'Everlasting Arms' snapped, followed within minutes by the 2nd line. I went up on the bow in 70 MPH winds but there was nothing I could do. No way to reach the piling and forget about lassoing it. All I could do was stand there and watch the midship's mooring line - also 5/8" - stretch and groan against the due Easterlies. It was the last line of defense - other than me and a couple of oversized fenders that may or may not have helped - between my boat and two short pilings on the starboard side that surely would have done some heavy damage to the fiberglass hull. There is nothing on this earth that could keep that line from snapping. But it held fast for over an hour until the winds shifted and relieved the pressure. Yes, I do believe in Divine Intervention and yes, I do have Faith in God through Christ Jesus. They were the architects in the plan that made that particular line stronger than the rest, and I bet Momma Jo and Papa Don were holding the boat against the wind so that their baby boy's boat wouldn't get smashed. Call me crazy, I don't care. That's what happened. Thank You, My father. And also a big 'Thank you' to Danny Boy who helped me secure 2 more lines in 40 MPH Northerlies around 0330.
