Cardio-oncologist, Dr. Siri Kunchakarra, works closely with cancer care teams to help patients continue treatment while protecting their heart health. Through early detection, ongoing monitoring and coordinated care, Dr. Kunchakarra helped patient, Vanessa Flores, stay on her cancer treatment safely and avoid long-term heart damage.

Yesterday, in memory of their loved one, family members of Betty Lou Gonzales generously gifted $5,000 to support our Oncology Support Services here at Community Cancer Institute.
We are truly grateful for their generosity and for allowing Betty’s legacy to continue making a difference in the lives of so many. Moments like these remind us of the strength of community and the compassion that carries us forward.
