Had an amazing impromptu show in Clinton near Cedar Island at The Aqua restaurant, this month. I am starting to fall in love both with the area and its people, everyone is so lovely and friendly and proper over there. We did only the most relaxing jazz Christmas songs and a couple originals and it was a super blast!!!

1:1 lessons available at The Music Studio in Niantic Mon-Wed nights - I teach piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, and songwriting. Sometimes we even get into some music theory and music history or how to break into music business but for the most part we follow a by the book, structured approach, which works well for a lot of people. I absolutely love my job there and our local support has been wonderful. It makes me so happy to see kids learning music and finding new ways to express themselves on their instruments!

Fun fact: bf now does live sound mixing for my shows - he apparently has a natural ear for it, maybe because of what he does in radio! Always happy to hire a real sound mixer or rigger in the future if the time is right and it’s a good connection but bf did this on top of a work volunteer event and I think that’s truly amazing! I am so lucky to have him in my life and hope we get to do this again, soon!
