Have you ever wondered about my logo? A subtle silhouette of a sea turtle in the print colors of cyan, magenta, yellow and black. For those of you who know my family and I, we are turtle fanatics. Since the day I met Dave, the turtle has always held a special meaning to us and over the years we have imparted that love of these adorable creatures to our children.

A few years ago when I was going through my own rebranding, I knew I had to include a turtle in some fashion. Turtles have always been symbols of longevity and perseverance — a path I am all too familiar with. They symbolize long, fruitful lives and good fortune... all of which I wish for my clients. Turtles symbolize “home”. A turtle cannot crawl out of its shell. They carry their home wherever they go — much like your brand, you are always carrying that with you.

And finally, on a more personal note, as many of you know I lost my dear husband, Dave in 2017 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was my biggest cheerleader. And although he is no longer here with us in the physical world, much like a turtle’s shell we carry him with us wherever we go. In the far east, the turtles shell was a symbol of heaven and the square underside was a symbol of Earth. This meant that the turtle was an animal whose magic united heaven and Earth. So it is also a nod and connection to my amazing husband and the father of my children. A symbol of perseverance, sea turtles tirelessly swim thousands of miles a year to reach their destination. And like the sea turtle all you can do is brave the waves, stay focused, live life to the fullest and keep on swimming. 🌊 🐢 ❤️
