In July 2016, Nick was able to see the then USL FC Cincinnati play Crystal Palace Football Club in a friendly at Nippert Stadium at the University of Cincinnati.
Nick was a super fan of his beloved FCC, and he enjoyed every moment of this match with his family. Notice his blue and orange shorts, back before there was a lot of FCC gear!

Today, June 5th, marks six years since Nick became a hero.
While our world changed forever on June 3rd when we lost him, June 5th will always be a testament to Nick’s enduring legacy of kindness. Six years ago, he became an organ, eye, and tissue donor by his own decision, and his family honored that decision, turning a moment of profound loss into a gift of life, hope, and healing for so many families:
5 lives saved through 7 organs
Sight restored to 2 individuals
Up to 75 lives improved through tissue donation
Through NRCF, we strive every day to honor that spirit of ultimate generosity and to keep sharing the message of hope that Nick left behind.
We love you and miss you always, Nick. Your light continues to guide us and touch the lives of so many. 💚💙
