This is (an excerpt) from a typical Thursday night rehearsal. In fact this is the not a new deal. This is the way of this duo. Just drop the beat at our feet and go. (This excerpt) is from 3 days ago.

It all locks in easy. After we run through a bundle of our set songs. We strike. We might grab a pizza and some brews at .pie Pie. We talk domestic stuff. Jobs. The grind. Or maybe we grab a polish boy, some field roasts, and some Cheers-like belonging at the Millard Fillmore.

And then we head back to the spot, lean in on the magic of happy little Bob Ross accidents on the bass and drums. 🥁

Can’t qualify how we meander into such monstrous and mysterious tones, ployrhythms, layered voicings on the guitar side of the house, and pensive lyrical sketches. But it’s right to say, it’s all the way catharsis. 🤘🏻

(Even if he’s standing tall in his Posturepedic shoes. Thank Russ for that geezer label, Mr. Chuck Taylor exclusive is not keen on my Hop.) 🤣
