The Growing Place

Our precious preschoolers graduated last night! 🎉 We are so incredibly proud of these kiddos! They are all destined to do amazing things. May God always watch over and protect these sweet babies throughout their lives. We are going to greatly miss them!!
As most of you know, there was a heartbreaking decision made to close The Growing Place Preschool. It was not an easy one, but we are trusting in God’s direction.
It has been quite a journey for The Growing Place Preschool for the past eight years. With a vision that two ladies had in mind of opening a unique preschool built for special and one of a kind experiences, this school became something so beautiful and has truly been a work of heart for so many throughout the past eight years. I am so thankful for what two ladies started all these years ago, and it was an honor to be a part of what God blessed and helped blossom in bounds over time. It was such a pleasure to be the preschool teacher here for the past two years. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity and for the love and generosity from the congregation of FPC Cleveland.
This isn’t goodbye, just a see you later. May God richly bless you all! 💚

This week was Dr. Seuss Week at school! 📕
Tuesday was “Cat in the Hat” Day, and everyone got to wear a hat! 🧢 👒🎩
Wednesday was Fox in Socks” Day, where everyone got to wear silly/mismatched socks! 🧦 🧦
Thursday was “Green Eggs and Ham” Day, and we got to wear something green! 💚
We also got to have a special Seuss snack every day We like to have fun here at TGP! 💚

Everyone, please wish the best teachers assistant, Mrs. Adele, a very Happy Birthday!! She turns 8️⃣4️⃣ years young today!! I hope and pray that I get to grow up and have the energy and s***k she has at her age! ❤️

Our class has been learning about Community Helpers this week! So, we had Officer Ramey, from the White Co. Sheriff’s Office, to come and visit us today!

He also brought his K-9 unit along with him, Cast! (I’m pretty sure that I have spelled that wrong. 😂)
Everyone got to pet the K-9, got to see the lights flash, and we also got to hear the siren! 🚨
