ovin’ It!, recorded at Midtown Recording for COH-Tone Records, features nine original tunes by DeVito and several covers. Engineered, mixed, and produced by Bart Koster, this release continues the multi-genre approach, with DeVito saying the current Cats On Holiday lineup of Paul Kompier (guitar, vocals), Dillon DeVito (bass, vocals), Toby Packard (drums) and Jeffrey Bowen (congas, percussion, poetry) is something special. “I think the band is maybe the best it’s ever been,” DeVito said. “This is certainly the finest recording of my 25 years of leading CATS ON HOLIDAY and it was an absolute gas having the great Cleveland piano man Joe Hunter join the best version of COH to date.
