Considering I've used animation software before, this took WAY too much time, and isn't as cool as I'd envisioned. But I wanted to play around with Adobe After Effects to get a sense of how it works, and this is the result.
The real purpose of this was to play around with puppet warping, but I spent so much time figuring out the basics, and troubleshooting things that weren't working as I expected, that I didn't end up doing much with that. A little bit, but it's not that noticeable.
But stay tuned! I have five more days on the demo!

A logo I designed for the wonderful author Emily Rapp Black and her ghost writing business. The name and symbol has deep personal meaning to her, so it had to be just right. There were a few different options, but I love how in this one, everything works together as a unit. The soft colors help give it a peaceful mood.
