Sometimes glass can be a temperamental diva who does whatever she wants. 💅🏻👑✨
Wanna explain how I cut that top piece easily but that bottom simple one is the only one I broke? Yeah, I'm mad too.

A little sleeping fox to welcome a precious little baby into the world. 🦊

This one was a special request; a baby shower gift to match the little one's woodland themed nursery. I'm quite pleased with it and I genuinely hope that they are too.

Some days no matter what you do, the glass just won't break right. You try a different cutter or the other pliers, you try heat, you try tapping, and you even bring out the Silberschnitts. Nope. The glass just sits there, taunting you. Of course it's when you're already in a mood and the frustration compounds.
That mean little point kept breaking and I don't have much of this glass left. I can let my pride win and try until I'm out of glass, or, fire up the saw. I chose to fire up the saw.
I maybe use it once every three or four months, but it's nice to have as a bailout when I need it!

I'll be away the next few days celebrating with my favorite people and maybe having a little too much birthday cake. 😋 Gotta say, 34 looks good on me!

This is probably my favorite book yet!!
A while back I inherited a box filled with little mosaic rectangles of really pretty glass. I used a few pieces for pup collars, but then put it in the cabinet and forgot about it. I rediscovered it the other day while tidying up and was immediately inspired by this bit. It's so pretty!!

I went out of my comfort zone today and I'm so excited to have a retail spot out in the world for my art! A few pieces of Leaning Tree can now be found at Muses Mug! 🥰

I spent the last couple days getting the workshop back in order. After focusing on shows the last few months, it was looking pretty chaotic in here!

Now that order is restored, I'm feeling so inspired. We had a rough storm roll through the other day and it left behind such a beautiful rainbow. Since then, I've caught myself daydreaming and looking at all the colors on my glass rack. My soul craves rainbows and sunshine! Get ready because it's about to get really colorful in here! 🌈

Man, yesterday was a scorcher! I want to thank everyone who braved the heat to come out and enjoy the festival.
James and I are beat! Instead of our usual post show night out routine, we came home, took a really long shower and ordered a pizza. Sometimes a night in is what's needed. ☺️

Now that summer is in full swing, we'll be taking some time off from shows. Don't worry, I'm still making art and you can order from me anytime, you just won't be spotting us in the wild until September. ♥️
