i prefer thee soft & slight chewy variety (called “morbidi” in Italian) to their crunchy cousins which are more easily found in Italian and European markets here in the States, and maybe that’s why i like ‘em.

✨cheers to nine years!

this guy. the universe threw us together at a time in each of our lives where it didn’t seem like the right move to make space for something new. I gave him free pretzels from my shop for weeks. he gave me his number. I lost it. he thought i ghosted. finally we figured it out, but since i’d been wild & free for a good long stretch - i almost didn’t show.

i was twenty minutes late and showed up to our first date at a chill coffee in a hot pink dress more appropriate for the kentucky derby than a low vibe afternoon. he didn’t miss a beat and i knew within the first five minutes that i never wanted to be apart.

he is a huge reason i can do all that i do. one of my most incredible supports and most honest taste tester. he is confident, kind, a bottomless well of patience, an absolute rockstar dad, always pitch perfectly weird, and he makes me laugh so hard even when i want to murder him. i love watching him tinker and figure things out, that he orders sandals once a year from a random guy in Greece he made friends with years ago, that our love is complicated and simple at the same time. he drives me nuts, i drive him mad. but what we’ve built in nine years - i would do alllll of the hard stuff again if it would get me right back here 🖤
