ENR Midwest’s 2019 Best Projects for Innovative Design Bridges

AMECO USA created and provided the stair pipe sections for the St. pedestrian Arch Bridge Over Lake Shore Drive in Chicago.

Following AMECO USA's exceptional performance in producing three Santiago Calatrava art sculptures for NYC, AMECO USA was again called upon to build a larger and more complex piece to be installed at River Point Plaza in Chicago, IL.

Standing at over 30 feet tall, this Santiago Calatrava designed piece will become a landmark on the banks of the Chicago River. When erected in 2020, this striking contemporary piece will become a notable addition to the city of Chicago’s extensive public art projects.

Constructed from over 200 individual pieces of precision-cut aluminum plate, the piece will be test-assembled at our facility then disassembled into 33 separate sections for shipping.
