In mid-May, the Glass Bubble Project hosted a group workshop for Beyond the Challenge 501c3, a special needs support organization in Independence, and the result was a special, creative experience for workshop attendees and glassblower instructors, alike.

Beyond the Challenge is a 501(c)(3) created in September of 2010. They provide support, advocacy, education, and resources to people with disabilities and/or their families to help them get beyond their challenges. ​The mission of Beyond the Challenge is to advocate for people with special needs to ensure they have opportunities, experiences, and education to reach their highest potential and become fully-integrated members of society. www.beyondthechallenge.com

The Glass Bubble Project is a staple in Cleveland. Located by the West Side Market, next to Mitchell's Ice Cream. Serving Cleveland since 1998 with glassblowing and art. We've evolved but our mission remains bring glassblowing to the masses!

Date nights and weekends are booking weeks in advance please have a couple dates in mind as they may be filled.

Class information

Date nights: $150 per couple (1 piece per person)

1 piece workshop: (4 people or more) $85 cash /$100 card

2 piece workshop: $135 cash /$150 card

3 piece workshop: $185 cash /$200 card

Examples of pieces include
Solid: paperweights, small bowls, mushrooms, hearts, ect
Blown: stemless wineglasses/rocks glasses, vases, oil and vinegar bottles, bowls, cork jars, ect
