- a well organized lending library of political literature and archived periodicals
- a CSA stop for folks in the neighborhood, perhaps a Free Store
- and probably a dozen other worthwhile uses. We are fortunate to be founded in a neighborhood where commercial property is available at very reasonable prices especially when compared to real estate costs in other cities. We feel the time is right and the opportunity is here to establish an organizing space that will not be subject the whims of a landlord, owned by a non-profit LLC and administered by a council with rotating membership to ensure continued success in perpetuity. We are working class, anti-authoritarian, & feminist. We are anti-racist. We support both freedom to practice one’s religion/spirituality and as importantly the freedom from having religion forced upon us. We envision a world that supports reproductive freedom, the homeless, the disabled, the oldest and youngest members of society. We are q***r positive and intend to support our LGBTQIQ allies. We believe in dual power and the formation of this space is a step toward that goal.
