During we're putting the spotlight on the diversity of our membership and showcasing artists!

Today, we're highlighting Dr. E, Juried Showcase artist, OAPN Board Member, The Ohio State University professor, songstress, songwriter, actress, author, activist, speaker, and survivor.

On stage her organic sound summons the textures of black music’s history with its trek from retro groove to modern smooth, the power and timbre of Dr. E’s voice—both physically and metaphorically--give the set its authenticity and magnetism.

When Dr. E's not on the stage or in the classroom, she's also working as the founder of the non-profit organization Education Foundation for Freedom whose mission is to interrupt vulnerability of women, girls and gender expansive people of color through arts, culture and community education.
