Ohio Geese Control
Ohio Geese Control (OGC) is a safe, humane, and effective way to control your geese population in the Ohio area for corporate facilities, hospitals, public parks, communities, airports, school campuses, shopping centers, marinas, golf courses, and at your location.
April showers brought May flowers. And our Border collies noticed every single one!
Field after field, pond after pond, our dogs are out there doing the work, keeping properties clear of geese, and somehow they keep finding time to stop and smell the wildflowers along the way.
Spring is honestly the best season to be a working dog in Ohio.
Comment DOGS if a job that takes you outside with a happy Border collie sounds like the right kind of day.

Did you know? Canada goslings are precocial. That means they hatch with their eyes open, fully feathered in soft down, and ready to walk, swim, and feed themselves within hours of breaking out of the shell.
They also imprint on the first moving thing they see, usually a parent, within the first day or two of life. That bond is permanent. Whoever they imprint on is mom, forever.
Once a family is up and moving, they often choose the same easy-access lawns and ponds year after year, which is how a quiet spring turns into a busy property by midsummer.

A few goslings on the property. No big deal. Right?
They are cute. They are fuzzy. They follow their parents around in a little line. It is genuinely one of the best parts of spring.
Here is the part most people do not think about. Canada geese return to the same site every year, and they bring their families with them. The two geese that nested this spring become eight by midsummer. Next year, those eight become sixteen.
A small flock on a commercial property is not just a lawn issue. It is droppings on walkways and patios, turf damage from constant grazing, water quality concerns near ponds and storm drains, and slip risks where the public walks. Health departments and grounds crews both pay attention.
The good news: small flocks are easier to address before they grow. Learn more in our Field Guide on the website about how to protect your property.
