Life Recovery Ministries is a community-based organization in Cuyahoga County, committed to building bridges between the faith community and the behavioral health care system, to better assist people living with mental health and substance use disorders.

Day Nine - Vampire Analogy #9: Vampires cannot go on holy ground: Active alcoholics and/ or addicts are often unwilling to attend church, religious services or 12-Step meetings. They do not want to subject themselves to GOD (Good Orderly Direction), which they are avoiding. GOD is a power greater than their disease. This power can destroy the grip that addiction has over the individual, give sight to the blind and restore the dead to life.
Day Six - Vampire Analogy #6: Vampires have their own society: Alcoholics and/ or addicts have their own society. They hang together, drink together, smoke together, even shoot-up together. Whatever the substance, they can be found in groups of two or more. They have bars, trap houses, dens, and other hang outs where only users are welcome.
