Safer spaces respect boundaries.
Safer spaces stop harm before it happens.
Safer spaces make room for rest and healing.
Safer spaces believe survivors.
We all play a role in building safe spaces. Whether that means uplifting survivor voices, advocating for trauma-informed resources, or just listening with compassion, we can help survivors feel seen, heard, and supported.

40-60% of Black women report experiencing s*xual coercion by the time they’re 18 years old. Sexual coercion happens when someone manipulates, pressures, intimidates, or threatens another person into s*xual activity.
Crossing boundaries and ignoring when someone says “no” or seems unsure about intimacy is never okay. To Black survivors and their families, Cleveland R**e Crisis Center is here for you. You do not have to go through this alone.
Text or call (216) 619-6192 or (440) 423-2020 for support any time, day or night.
