Brad's writing often includes programmatic elements, narrative structures within the music. In his piece, "Hashtag Bop Stop Sunset", the sun and the moon vie for control of the scene. Here the sun, represented by the trumpet and resisting its impending sunset, relinquishes control to the moon, which in the next section is represented by the bari sax.

Invariance occurs when something, usually pitches or intervals, are preserved during a process of transposition, inversion or retrograde inversion. Garrett brought this tune in which features maximum invariance of pitches in six-note pitch class sets transformed through processes of transposition and inversion. Here's "Cardinal Six"
