Cleveland Mediation Center
CMC's Mission:
CMC promotes just and peaceful community in Northeast Ohio by honoring all people, building their capacity to act, and facilitating opportunities for them to engage in conflict constructively. We fulfill our mission by continuing our work in the community to facilitate dialogue with neighbors, community members, families or other parties, stop evictions, prevent homelessness, improve school attendance, and train those who wish to mediate.

What’s our Shelter Diversion Program?
Individuals and families enter the homeless shelter system and participate in Coordinated Intake. During Coordinated Intake, CMC Diversion Advocates support parties in exploring possible housing options outside the shelter system and assist with resolving conflicts with friends or family to enable safe housing arrangements.
We offer Shelter Diversion training to communities and organizations interested in using Diversion as a tool to prevent homelessness, with experience conducting workshops in cities nationwide.
To learn more about the program and what it has to offer, contact Mediation Advocate Supervisor Steven Molnar: [email protected]
