Until the Phone Gallery was transformed in summer 2013 by Ivana, Ali, and local contractor Doug Holmes, it was utility-less and phone-less. Now, Phone Gallery is always open thanks to an electrical source (light!) and its inherently public and highly visible location just west of E.156th Street on Waterloo Road.

In Spring 2014, Phone Gallery held its inaugural exhibition. It's mission is exhibit emerging artists who may not have a portfolio of work to fill a "normal" sized space, including students of all ages.

Phone Gallery is currently accepting applications in this open call from Cleveland-based artists to exhibit in the box in a rotating 1-month long solo exhibition. There are no deadlines and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Visual 2-D and 3-D pieces are encouraged.
