IMPROVment

Ian is in the denial stage of grief when he thinks about graduation, and is altering his behaviors to suit an alternate reality. First, he has created a new timezone called Avoidant Standard Time (AST) where its automatically 8:00 am when Ian wakes up no matter what time of day, allowing him to extend the duration of each day without sacrificing sleep. Next, Ian has switched his independent study to be experimentation with the space-time continuum, and his final exam is to demo a fully functional time machine. If you see a second Ian around campus that looks 4 years older, you’ll know it worked.

But, in case his alternate reality crumbles, Ian’s gonna switch into first person speech and extend the biggest and most heartfelt thank you to every single person who has supported me and IMPROVment these last 4 years. If it wasn’t for this troupe and performing arts community, I low-key would’ve switched schools. Thank you for loving my silly goofy crazy self for who I am, and for letting me inspire joy along the way. Your laughs are beautiful and it’s been an honor. I love you all dearly.

Starting off our Senior Spotlights strong with the one and only DOMINIC MONCZEWSKI!!!

Dominic is as shocked as you are that he’s graduating. He almost failed all his classes, but decided he didn’t want to spend another $100K just to have people question his sexuality.

After graduating, Dominic will return to his hometown of Brunswick, where a parade will be held in his honor. He will become a cog in the corporate system and sell his soul to “The Man,” but at least he’ll have the weekends to see friends.

But to step away from the bits for a second, Dominic is forever grateful for all the friends he’s made at Case. They’ve provided him a place to be his most genuine self and discover who he wants to be. He loves them all with his whole heart, and is eternally grateful for their friendship.

And, in case he doesn’t see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night.
