The heat has begun and it’s only just the beginning. We will be back to working early mornings and evenings outside and inside. Got the pig pens all set up for shade and coverage and of course you can’t forget the mud!!

This is what your boots will look like too working in the pig pens in the summer 😂😂

Still working down the list. Got some of the new fixtures done for market set up. I’ll have pics of the folding shelf tomorrow but the new folding rack for the towels and pot holders is done!!!

Hubs and I finished this one today and then the step display we found at a flea market but hubs put supports under it it today so it will stand up and I sanded it all down and cleaned it really good. For this stand for $5 and it’s cedar so this is where soaps will be displayed!

I’m excited. Hopefully next Saturdays market doesn’t rain us out.

This is the current repair and build list. We’re currently tackling some before it gets too hot today. The funny part is while we knock this down there’s absolutely going to be more added because what lost ever gets done?? 😂😂😂

Anyone else have a constant list going??

I have been fighting an icky infection for a few weeks so my posts have been fewer in between but look what I walked out to this morning. Adding that to the list or repairs that need to be made. 🙄

I’ve only been hatching small batches but this last batch has some cuties in it!

-3 silkie chicks straight run. 3 days old. One buff, one mauve splash and one white (the white is possibly a chocolate paint I see some super faint spots on its head)
-2 BCOE straight run. Also 3 days old.
-I also have 3 F1OE females also 3 days old

My gardens are slow this year. I think for me the weather confused the crap out of a lot of my plants. The herbs and things I use for tinctures and salves and soaps are doing well even the lettuce isn’t doing bad but the pepper plants struggled with all the weather fluctuations.

I finally got to pull some lovelies off the red habanero and this oddly shaped but delicious banana pepper. I’ll take it.
