Alumni in Action!

When Don S**o ’65 looks back on his time at Saint Ignatius, he sees it as a turning point.

Jesuit education helped shape Don’s lifelong commitment to service: first as a teacher in inner-city Catholic schools, later as President and CEO of America’s Charities, and now through the S**o Friends Scholarship Project in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

What began with one family in need of help sending a child to school has grown into support for more than 100 children, with donations exceeding $20,000 annually. Today, Don, his wife Pat, and their friends help students continue their education and pursue brighter futures.
