To all of our friends, customers, and supporters

We have received so many messages, calls, prayers, and kind words asking about Ha Ahn, and we wanted to share an overdue update with all of you.

Two months ago, owner and chef Jung Cho suffered a stroke. It has been one of the most difficult and emotional times for our family. Thankfully, with much gratitude and good fortune, she is recovering very well.

As many of you know, Ha Ahn is more than just a restaurant to us. It is our family’s life, heart, and dream. But during moments like this, family and health must come first.

Mrs. Cho has already made remarkable progress and is working incredibly hard every day through physical and occupational therapy so she can return to doing what she loves most: cooking for and serving the community she cares so deeply about.

We are currently planning to reopen in July, provided her recovery continues on its current positive path. We ask for your patience as we focus on her recovery and take things one day at a time.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the love, support, prayers, and kindness you have shown our family during this time. Your messages and encouragement have meant more to us than words can truly express.
