The MetroHealth System and the Vernon Family Foundation are hosting the inaugural Multicultural Women’s Health Fair & Empowerment Expo on Saturday, September 30, at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. It will be a day dedicated to celebrating and empowering women from every background and stage of life to take charge of their health, well-being and personal growth.

The event will offer:

Free health screenings – diabetes (A1C), blood pressure, cholesterol, complete blood count, Hepatitis B & C, pregnancy, sickle cell and sexual transmitted infections (STIs).
Health and wellness sessions.
A chance to meet with women’s health experts.
A Job Fair with multiple organizations offering on-site interviews.
Empowerment sessions focused on topics like communication and personal development, career and workplace development, entrepreneurship, personal branding and financial wealth management.
An opportunity to connect with community organizations and resources.
Special guests bringing messages of motivation and empowerment.
A screening of “Below the Belt,” a groundbreaking documentary that exposes inequities in women’s health. Music, entertainment and much more.
What can you do?
