Stink Bugs!
It's autumn and as the weather cools down, these insects will be looking for a place to spend the winter.
- If they make it inside your house they're likely to congregate near doors and windows. You may find them in cracks, under or behind baseboards and around exhaust fans and ceiling light fixtures.
- They do not bite or sting and are not harmful to people or pets.
- It might be tempting to smoosh these bugs, but when crushed they emit a pungent odor and can stain surfaces.

Mosquitoes
We are all susceptible to them. A few things you can do to help keep them to a minimum is to make sure you have no standing water in your yard. Empty buckets, sweep up puddles, make sure no toys outside can hold water.
Mosquitoes are attracted to dark colors as well as personal hygiene items like shampoo and perfume. So during the summer months wear light colored clothing and no perfumes. Basically avoid scented items. Hope this helps some of you avoid getting bitten.
