Wildcat

Well, it’s safe to say he’s officially a member of the family at this point so I’m so excited to introduce…Baby Jack!!! 💗 This precious floof boy came into our lives a few months ago as an unexpected foster. Jack (formerly known as Boots, because of his little white feeties) and his cat family were strays living outside at a local church parking lot, and our stepped in to trap, spay/neuter and help find these sweeties homes.

We were asked to help socialize Jack for “a few weeks” since he was super shy and fearful. For his first few days here, he mainly hid in his carrier, but he slowly came out of his shell and began to feel comfortable around us. The first time I saw him confident enough to walk up and take a playful bop at Rosie, I knew it would be hard to see him go.

Watching this timid big-eyed baby transform into a giant cuddly force of nature was some medicine I didn’t know I needed. JackJack aka Jackira is a purring machine, has giant beef paws, wakes me up every night, leaps off the walls, steals everyone’s food and still hides when anyone enters the house. He also loves every second of being the newest Wildcat muse and I can’t imagine life without him. 🥰 Swipe to the end to see Jack with his adorable fluffy parents and sister - who each found great homes of their own. ❤️

Fun Friday lookback at CatCon 2022…still can’t believe we were there with all our favorite cats and cat people. We haven’t stopped smiling since and can’t wait until next year! 😻
