Virgo is in the Sixth House of Service & Health.

In the Hermetic Tarot by Godfrey Dowson, the Hermit card signifies Virgo. In the Waite-Smith Tarot by Pamela Coleman Smith & Arthur Waite, the Hermit stands on a mountain top holding a lamp with a six-pointed star inside (Virgo rules the Sixth House) to light his journey of self-discovery.

D**e is the Greek goddess of human justice & was associated with Astraea, the goddess of purity. Once humankind began to war, sail the seas, & colonize, D**e left Earth in disgust, never to return. Her mother, Themis, was goddess of divine justice. The goddess Justicia was introduced by emperor Augustus. As a relatively new concept in the Roman pantheon, she was used more as a symbol than an actual deity. Today she is known as Lady Justice, and is depicted in courthouses all over the United States.

Virgo is associated with the "virgin" goddesses who were not always sexually chaste but were sexually independent, unmarried, & belonged to themselves.

Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom and war strategy. Particularly during peacetime, she is goddess of craftsmen, the arts, spinning, and weaving. She is a virgin goddess in that she never married. She is a palace goddess and guards the city and the king. She has a strong association with the owl, the snake, and the olive tree. Her Roman equivalent is Minerva. In the comic books, Wonder Woman is the champion of Athena.
