CSU Students Against Marshall- SAM

We are so grateful and humbled to the many strong community organizations, and the individual leaders within them that reached out to us, wrote letters, made calls, and offered support, time, and mentorship to the students of Cleveland State University Law School during this campaign.

In July 2020, there were three law schools in the nation who were named after the brutal slave trader, Chief Justice John Marshall. During the wake of the largest racial uprisings our country has ever known, they were called upon to act in the name of justice and equity on behalf of their students, and remove the name.
